Respectable office in Moscow
Office project designed by designer Marina Fillipova with Christian Liaigre furniture
What is the company setting here? What is its activity? The designer claims that she probably doesn’t know the answers to these questions, but knows the client, who not the first time she works with. Perhaps, that is why through the design of the office, more like an expensive private club, the identity of the owner reveals: obviously male, aesthete, sybarite probably, attentive to details and appreciates only the highest quality.
It is remarkable that the image of the interior, although unformed, elusive, for the first time was born by its owner. To formulate his wishes for interior of the space, the customer came to the meeting with printed shots of a movie. “The first thing that stood out was a light, shadow, contrast, certain brutality, style and gloss at the same time. I took these impressions.”- said the author of the project, designer Marina Filippova.
Surprisingly, despite of the fact that in the interior there is no explicit quotations from the art Deco, its effect is elusive and is felt everywhere. Perhaps, it is all about the luxurious finishing materials which are so typical for that era: the walls in lacquered rosewood and leather woven panels. Maybe in weight and large shapes of furniture… All is telling you that this space is not vanity. The lounge area by the fireplace in the negotiation-room is extremely elegant due a soft group from Christian Liaigre – the Horn sofa-canape by special order and Barbuda armchairs in luxurious leather and deep dark tones.
