Report on Maison&Objet and DECO OFF in Paris
January 2015: novelties of textile brands (part 2)
We’ve lots of emotions and inspiration from DECO OFF at this time there, as in the textile segment innovative ideas and passion for art are felt most clearly and affect the mood of all textile collections of this season. In general the color palette of the season is very rich and differs dramatically from brand to brand. Team Fifth Avenue traditionally selected for You the most original decorative solutions for textile interior decoration. We offer to Your attention the review in parts of our favorites of January DECO OFF new collections. They are – Loro Piana, Rubelli, Dedar, Pierre Frey, De le Cuona, Lizzo, Metaphores, Holland&Sherry.
The color palette of the famous model of Saint-Germain unique softest velvet 100% – cotton from French brand Metaphores was added with a gentle «girlish» pastel colors, allowing you to create the most soft and feminine interiors, as well as rich coral and green and blue new shades, which are identified with the sea breeze and bright flora of marine coast. The new collection of linen and cotton of Loro Piana is also inspired by the mood of the Mediterranean and its interiors, in which the main preference is traditionally given to a white, beige and blue colours…Spanish manufacturer LIZZO again was true to himself, adding in the traditionally restrained color palette some exotic patterns with Indian motifs and multiple versions of muted chenilles in the style of Coco Chanel. New collection of Holland&Sherry has increased with new luxury mohair handmade carpets that can be made in almost any color and size. What a tactile pleasure and aesthetic delight!
New collection of Rubelli surprised with the color and stylistic smoothness, quite unusual for Rubelli brand, known for its holisticdesign, in which subjects drawings, dimensions, reports, color palette, complex textures – all are based on historical motifs and drawings on the culture of different eras and epoques. In the new collection we can see quite smoothinterpretation of historical classics in the absence of complex collages and powerful color effects. Continue exploring with us Paris design week!
