Luke Irwin
Even if you haven’t heard the names of some of the famous owners of his pieces: President Barack Obama, various band members of the Rolling Stones and U2, and Prince William and Kate Middleton. Though always considered a cult-favorite rug-maker among celebrities, politicians, and socialites, Irwin is now weaving for the masses.
Established in 2003 the company Luke Irwin offers its clients full control over the creation of a rug choice of designs (in the collection there is a huge variety of designs), composition (any design can be produced in the desired composition wool, silk, cashmere), and absolutely any size. Carpets are produced in Nepal and India by hand, production time from 16 to 20 weeks. All of the rugs were handmade in India or Nepal, using Persian and Tibetan hand-knotting techniques, making this, his first American collection, just as eye-catching and covetable as the ones he personally placed under the feet of royalty.
