Air&Light - interior of country-side house in pastel tones (Designer - Elena Lazarenko, realization - Fifth Avenue)
Designer Elena Lazarenko has set a task to create a stylish, modern interior of a country house in pastel comfortable colours for the modern family, which is close to current style of contemporary cities.
The task was not easy, because it is important to keep the greater part of the furniture and interior items in the house, which was purchased earlier and remained valuable for its owners, changing them, breathed new life into them, adding in the whole interior is more light and air…
The first thing done by the author of the project – «cleaned» to maximum all available decoration finishings: not changing them completely changed the color of the floor on more bright and fresh, as well as walls and finishing beams, thus underlining the structure of wooden houses, adding the effect of a larger space in its main part. Entrance into the living room was transferred in its central part. |
All interior doors strongly repainted in bright colors, which also added space and air throughout the house. The designer has breathed new life and in existing upholstered furniture, completely changing its upholstery, adding new accents – decorative elements in the form of pillows, blankets, spectacular carpets and correct linens for luxury panoramic windows…Fireplace as the main focus of the living room, which was previously dull and old-fashioned, now specifies the art mood throughout the area, due to the sounding motives of Suprematism in its solution.
In the renovated interior prevails pearl-gray tonned silks and moiresfrom Dedar, natural pastel linen from Dominique Kieffer, velvets from Lizzo with color of coffee with milk, silk curtains from Henry Bertrand, tulle by Lilievre, cashmere blankets by Loro Piana, decorative pillows embroidered by Etro and Holland&Sherry, and textile design decisions realized by Fifth Avenue. In all interior zones carpets from the Limited Edition are used. The author of the project chosen Meridiani when creating the interior of the dining room and both bedrooms. The Porta Romana light and accessories from Riviere added comfort to these areas.
In the living room on the windows played pearl-gray silk curtains from Dedar. Sofas «healed» a new life in luxury sand linen upholsery from Dominique Kieffer, there are cushions on it to support curtains in moire from Dedar. Sofa in the front area in the living room has the new upholsery in linen from Holland&Sherry, it is decorated with velvet cushions in the fabrics by the Lizzo in coffee with milk color, and embroidered pillows by Etro. Carpet from the Limited Edition is of the silk -bamboo. The bras are made of lace- fabrics by Morton Young&Borland under the special order.
In the dining – room over the console there is a mirror by Deknudt Decora, on it – a table-lamp by Porta Romana. The Meridiani chairs upholstery is made of natural linen from Dominique Kieffer, the carpet-mat – Limited Edition. The chandelier, a favorite subject of the hostess of the house, «the ultimatum-survivor», organicaly merged into the renewed interior.
The main bedroom has the bed and bedside stool from Meridiani, both low bedside-tables are made domestically under the special order. Table-lamps are from Porta Romana, the carpet – from Limited Edition. Blanket and cushions- natural wool from Fox Linton design Fifth Avenue, plaid by Loro Piana. Heavy curtains100% silk – Henry Bertrand, tulle -Lilievre. Jewelry-box from Riviere. Wallpaper in pearl-color from Thibaut.
In the guest-bedroom all furniture- a bed, bedside tables and lamps, are by Meridiani, the carpet – from Limited Edition. Curtains by Houles silk cottons. Blanket – natural wool from Holland&Sherry, velvet for cushions from Lizzo, the front cushion embroidered – by Holland&Sherry. All decorative textile is designed and realised by Fifth Avenue.
Eventually, the whole interior became focused, spacious, filled with air and light!
