Design pieces of Christian Liaigre in the project of Moscow apartment
"Modern luxury" in the project of an apartment in the residential complex "Barkli Park" (architect Alexey Nikolashin, SL Project)
Fifth Avenue continues the series of publications of the projects of Russian architects and designers, which represent the furniture and lighting of the famous french house – Christian Liaigre, integrated in them.
To your attention is a fragment of the living room in the interior project of an apartment in the residential complex “Barkli Park” by Alexey Nikolashin (architectural bureau SL Project). The central place of the room is given to the flawless in its elegance coffee table – Cathare by Christian Liagre, which is made in a unique pearl-grey finish – Tulle. There is no other factory in the world which could do the same finish. The Cathare table clearly demonstrates how French designer pays much attention to materials processing. In contact with the surface of Tulle Cathare table a sudden feeling occures that you run by your hand across the canvas. The enemy of excess and redundancy, Christian Liaigre believes that a true luxury and comfort are in such details.
Christian Liaigre’s approach to the design of furniture and interior is close to Alexey Nikolashin’s own style that over the years of his work in architecture he defines as – “modern luxury”. Projects of Alexey Nikolashin are minimalistic, but not cold and lifeless, they are rather thoughtful, functional and comfortable thanks to the use of expensive natural materials and high level brands.
