By the sea – Project Bruno Moinard with Christian Liaigre furniture (Interior+Design)

In Knokke-Heist French architect Bruno Moinard got an interesting order: to reconstruct the house of the 1930s. A recognized master of luxury-style, he has a convincing experience of work on the expensive interiors. He developed the concept of stores interiors of Thierry Mugler, Karl Lagerfeld, Yves Saint Laurent, Cartier. Gave the world many fine hotels, such as Morgan’s in new York and Saint James Club in Paris, as well as popular restaurants like Opium in Tokyo. It is Moinard who designed the office of a famous Minister of culture of France Jacques Lang, co-authored by Philippe Starck in the work on the presidential apartments of Francois Mitterrand. And of course, he designed private homes of his friends: Carl Lagerfeld, composer Pierre Boulez, Jean-Paul Goude.
In Knokke the customer has a fine collection of modern art. What did Maestro? He ordered furniture from Christian Liaigre, bookshelves, a dressing room and a kitchen fulfilled craftsmen of the company Obumex… Together with customers Moinard selected works of art, strictly in accordance with the new color concept.
