Maison&Objet Sept 2014 Report
Part 2: accents and novelties
We continue to cover the latest news and our discoveries of the last Paris fair Maison&Objet September 2014. Our impressions and inspirations from the past exhibition, to be honest, are less than usually – due to the impact of the global crisis and the overall complicated political and economic situation in the world markets. Traditionally, the September M&O is more accessory oriented, so Fifth Avenue found for You the most original decorative solutions. Here are our favorites of September Maison&Objet: luxury glass vases made by Belgian brand Henry Dean. Amazing color depth and variety of shapes, unique bronze statuettes, glass and ceramics from the Belgian brand – Gardeco, part of the collection is limited, and is anticipating for its owner…
Furniture and lighting brands didn’t not impress us much this time with bright novelties, of course leaving all the new ideas for the upcoming i-Saloni in Milan in April 2015, and future Maison&Objet January 2015. But we have to mention the eye-catching chairs, tables and lamps from Tom Dixon and the light from the original Portuguese brand – Delightfull. Our Belgian favorites JNL added a bit of bright colors. The Portuguese brand Boca de Lobo was outstanding in M&O by refined solutions…We really liked the sophisticated ideas from Brabbu…
In the segment of solutions for kids’s rooms, the team of Fifth Avenue has selected for You the new range of textile brands: fun and colourful bed – linen from Selen et Gaia, carpets for the little ones from Art for Kids, magic Wallpaper-stickers from Chispum, wonderful gentle textile accessories for kids from Numae, Nobodinos, Pschitt…and much more… we won’t reveal all the maps and look forward for you visiting us!
