The show-room Fifth Avenue traditionally opens the season  of pre-Christmas parties/cocktails for our clients and press-partners, and invites you to share a milestone  event – the 1st anniversary of our collaboration with legendary French brand Christian Liaigre.

Unique objects of the founder of the brand, Christian Liagre, are well- known for their simple shapes and amazing ergonomics, manually manufactured using only natural materials. They reflect refined French elegance, but they are difficult to attribute to any particular historical style. They emit soothing serenity and simplicity – but this is not minimalism in its purest form. Perfectly seasoned proportions amaze, but it is not classics. Each detail indicates about luxury but luxury restrained and noble.

The atmosphere of  Fifth Avenue, where collections of home textiles and furniture from leading world manufacturers are formed into a single architectural space was the perfect setting for unique interior objects ofChristian Liaigre. At December 3, updated collection of Christian Liaigre will be presented to the guests as well as  several symbolic objects created by Christian Liaigre in different years.

Conceived from the outset as a space where unique interior design meets modern art, Fifth Avenue and at this time does not change the concept. At December 3 our guests will see the exposition of the Russian abstract artist Vladimir Andreenkov, which art-works are provided by the SHAZINA gallery. One of the brightest representatives of informal, “other” art of the 1960s, Vladimir Andreenkov continues the tradition of Russian constructivism. His works are exibited in the Tretyakov gallery and the State Russian Museum, in many art galleries of Russia, Belarus, Italy, as well as in private collections in USA, France, Switzerland and other countries.

Special guest of the evening will be the President of the maison Christian Liaigre – Christophe Caillaud, in whose track record appear at Jean Paul Gaultier, the French Federation of Haute couture and pret-a-porter and Commerce Union of Homme fashion. The appearance of the brand Liaigre in the Russian market, however, as in many other parts of the world, is the great contribution of Christophe Caillaud. Thanks to him, Liaigre in a short time has grown from a small family business into a well-known far beyond the borders of France luxury company with multi-million euros projects. Among them – the interiors for yachts and restaurants, the hotel Montalembert in Paris, Mercer in New York, restaurant in hotel Puerto America in Madrid, La Societe in Paris, Buddakan in New York and showroom of Chanel in the Place Vendome, as well as a number of brilliant projects of private clients. It’s sufficient  to say that the company Liaigre has been entrusted the arrangement of their houses by Karl Lagerfeld, Rupert Murdoch, Kenzo Takada – and this is not a complete list of clients!

Among the honored guests of the evening – the Ambassador of France in Russia – Jean-Maurice Ripert with his wife Yael and the Head of the Trade mission of Ubifrance – Elizabeth Poisson.
