The company’s influence and reputation spread as far as the Court of the Russian Tsars, thanks to its two trump cards: technical innovation and collaboration with the best artists and designers of the age. From 1870, the families of Tassinari and Chatel continued the story with unfailing success, the growing market for Haute Couture filling the gap left by the gradual disappearance of the royal courts of Europe.
